President Trump on Monday said he will sing an executive order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States amid the coronavirus pandemic, a move that is likely to draw prompt legal challenges.

@realDonaldTrump
In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!

Pandering to his base, they will eat it up. He is so getting re-elected.

We are the longest running champion scapegoats in the history of the country. It doesn't matter the crisis - we'll get blamed. Terrorism? It's our fault. Unemployment? It's our fault. Spam email? It's our fault.

Details haven’t been released yet on what he plans to do. I would think it’s mostly about not letting in immigrants into the country and temporarily suspending the applications for green cards.
