Hey guys, I have been debating whether or not to renew my daca, it expires on 10/2021. If I submit it will USCIS approve it or will I have to wait the 150day mark?

Worried. Thanks in advance for the help! Have a bless day!

If I renew now, will I be gaining more months? And if so about how many months? Any idea?

I wish we had a dollar for every time we answer this question.

Don't worry about how many months. They will renew close to 150 days.. even if it meant one more month extension (extreme example), it should still be worth the extra $500.

Definitely renew. Better to be safe than sorry. I expire next year as well and I already sent in my renewal and they got it and cashed in my check and sent me my receipts already.

Did you send it during the pandemic? Or prior?

It was just a few weeks ago in April, during the pandemic.

Everyone here will always tell you to renew renew renew. My card could expire March of 2022 and they would be telling me to renew. I think you’re good on time. Don’t bother wasting money.

I wouldn’t take JavierHTx opinion on this. You can’t predict the future. What if the Supreme Court says the administration should stop accepting renewal applications and finish processing the ones they already have? Wouldn’t it suck to have your EAD expire in 5 months rather than 2 years?

That's funny, I'm expiring at the same time, I'm sending my renewal tommorow. $500 is nothing really, so I'll take the risk of losing it.
