Ben Carson, secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, told Congress on Tuesday that he supported Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival recipients being eligible for mortgages backed by the Federal Housing Administration.

I’m pissed because my husband who has DACA was told he was ineligible for FHA from all the lenders we went to just in March and now they change their minds...

For someone looking to buy 1M-1.5M is FHA eligible? Combined (me & my fiance) = $350k this year before tax. Citi is chicken out and won't do mortage unless my fiance is the primary and me being cosigner.

WellsFargo is thinking about letting DACA to get loans regardless of co-sign or not.
