Yes DACA is back, kinda.

https://www.uscis.gov/i-821d

Quote:
Due to federal court orders, USCIS has resumed accepting requests to renew a grant of deferred action under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). USCIS is not accepting requests from individuals who have never before been granted deferred action under DACA. See Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals: Response to January 2018 Preliminary Injunction for more information.
What are they talking about ? they never stopped accepting renewal requests.

No, why would I hurt. DACA is back forever and ever, that's what we all wanted right? Now we are very safe and completely happy, the SCOTUS beat Trump very good. What a loss for him and a win for us.

You can keep DACA forever, go beg Trump (impeached) for a hug. We other DACAers want full citizenship ASAP.

This is the problem with the messaging. Its impossible to get "full citizenship ASAP." You have to first get a green card and hold it for some years. Be smart like DJM below who says he wants "earned citizenship" or else you aint gettin squat.

I don't understand why so many people complain about DACA and are willing to risk loosing it for a chance of getting legalized. Seems to me that this kind of attitude would only be possible if they don't have much to loose in the first place and somehow they think that getting legalized (GC or Cit) will bring along great opportunities. Unless DACA is holding you back from a GC-only or Cit-only job opportunity - government/security clearance kind of thing - I don't think it works like that. And if indeed it's holding you back from a job in this category, legalizing DACAs would increase the labor supply for this type of job, so you might not get it anyway

I'd take DACA forever any of the week before risking what I have built with it.
