Buying a Car

This may be a silly question but I decided to turn to this forum as I was unsure (I don't drive).

One of my parents has a GC and the other is undocumented. The one that is undocumented just bought a car (they have a drivers license) and the title is on my GC parent's name. The undocumented parent intends to drive it primarily.


Are there any implications of a green card holder having someone who is undocumented driving their vehicle?

No as long as the undocumented as a license there is no harm

No. As long as everyone is licensed and is insured

As long as the insurance covers them, no problem. Just don't get near the border.

My mother undocumented drives the car "owned" by me. This has been the case since DACA went into effect. No issues.
