I think a "good times" category would improve the forum, as in we would be able to bring in our personal life experiences either relating our status or simply our daily basis acts. It would also help the dreamers to relieve stress in other ways than just to relate to government issues or dream act topics. That is my two cents.

umm it might...but i mean more of a friendly category not so much dream act intended..more like with topics such as daily basis life, ex funny videos,knowledgeable stuff, random stuff...just not dream related lol...

That sounds like the Off Topic section to me.

somewhere along the time the Off Topic section became boring because people kept posting stuff about immigration. I believe that those posts belong in the Lounge section.

The off-topic should be about jokes and weird stuff that happen in our everyday lives.
Not an extension of the Lounge where everyone talks about politicians and what they will or will not do regarding the immigration topic or DREAM act.

If a thread ends up in the wrong section just report it as being in the wrong section. [the yellow and red flags above the original post] Please do not abuse this system, because we do look at every single one of these and it would be a shame if somebody reported a thread in the Off-Topic discussion just because it mentions immigration.

I know that many people come here to just hang out and thats OK, but the Topic of the board is the DREAM Act, everything else such as jokes, weird stuff, and even general politics and religion is Off Topic.

I don't want to litter the board with sections such as "Funny Videos", "What's up?", not to mention "Two Girls and One Cup", because, simply put, the overall theme of the site is more serious than that.
