Please help! Biometrics after getting approved

My case has been approved and I received my card but today I got a letter saying I need to go do biometrics has this happened to anyone eles? It just seems odd I’m doing this after getting my card.

I’m going to do it. I think they might want to make sure I’m actually here. But it’s so odd they did this after giving me my card.
