"Undocumented immigrant college students, or Dreamers, are experiencing higher levels of anxiety about their legal status and increased financial and personal stresses due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new survey conducted by the scholarship-granting organization TheDream.US.

A total of 2,681 of the approximately 3,850 undergraduate students supported with scholarships from the organization completed the survey, which was administered in May and early June at a time when Black Lives Matter protests were growing across the country and the Supreme Court was deciding the fate of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

The survey closed on June 10, slightly more than a week before the Supreme Court issued a ruling striking down the Trump administration’s attempt to end DACA, which provides work permits and protection against deportation to certain undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. illegally as children. Eighty-six percent of the survey respondents participate in DACA."

This report was published last year. Do you think, Pres. Biden will keep and hold his stand in favor of us?

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking. Are you asking if Biden will turn against dreamer for some reason? There is nothing indicating that right now, and I don't know why he would all the sudden turn against us.

He vowed to appeal for the DACA ruling since the most recent one was really disappointing.

There isn't much to appeal. The best option right now is to pass a bill.

Kamala is super Pro DACA so I don't think they will go from Pro to Anti, especially because they need hispanic voters if they want to counter Trumpers. Having said that, given all the shit going on, I don't have hope for anything beyond DACA pressed into the law.

I would HAPPILY take DACA plus unrestricted travel.

In before “I pay a lot of taxes”.

I disagree. Either a path to citizenship will pass through budget reconciliation or nothing at all. I don’t see there being any political will to pass a law just codifying DACA. There’s no upside for either side. Right wingers will scream amnesty and left wingers won’t see any difference between this law and the status quo.

By that logic, all the Indian Eagle Act bots on Twitter should be first in line.
