This is the same guy that said “Dreamers can’t occupy the entire stage” . I can’t believe we actually trust this con.

Quote:
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said he objects to protesters who followed Sen. Kyrsten Sinema into an Arizona State University ladies' room to excoriate her for refusing to pass a $3.5 trillion social welfare spending package.

Schumer told ABC News in the Capitol on Monday he “gets protested all the time” and “started his career” protesting the Vietnam War.

But he criticized the protesters, who not only berated Sinema as she entered a stall and used the facilities but also recorded the incident to post on the internet.

“I understand and so feel for the immigrant community and what they are going through,” Schumer said. “But following someone into a bathroom and recording them, that’s over the line.”

We're only the focus when it's re-election time. This man is sickening, how about he focus on rallying his caucus on the agenda that people voted them for.

I get we're all pissed and trust me, I hate that alcoholic Simena as much as the next person. But reality is, generally people will see it as a violation of privacy in the bathroom issue before they consider why the activists were there. They should have skipped on following her into the bathroom and waited for her outside.

On a plane, airport, thrift shop, lesbian bar, Wigs R Us shop, sure... but the bathroom was a bit much.

Also, fuck off Schumer.

I feel these action actually turn public sentiment against us and we lose support. I am not sure how this kind of behavior helps? Is Sinema more likely to vote for immigration after this?

Completely unacceptable. Whose support did they think they got from pulling those antics?

And you all really don’t realize AZ isn’t as blue as you think it is.

I'm not even sure she's said something about immigration in reconciliation. It's that real life troll Manchin who's now voiced against it.

Let's not forget who the actual villains are FIRST: the Parliamentarian, Schumer for not firing her, and then the rest of the "Ok, we tried" brigade.

If somehow immigration/DACA is successfully added by some miracle and Simena comes out against including it then I understand going after her.

Focus on the roadblocks as they come, not try to figure out the way over another possible one down the road.

Trust me, I am in no way defending Simena and stupid outfits, but I think we're losing focus and losing sympathy along the way.

Exactly. Plus, more than Sinema / Manchin, the focus should be to overrule the Parliamentarian's OPINION.

At least there's still some pressure on for VP to overrule the parliamentarian and include immigration reform. https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/...ate-to-include

If Manchin (and Sinema) thinks that immigration is "too big" for reconciliation, then cut it and add a smaller provision (you know just the one that gives permanent residency to DACA lol).
