How do you guys deal with this?

To be clear, it’s not a permanent job. It’s free lancing but still

Are they asking you about it? If not, you technically don't have to tell them your work permit is expiring.

Hopefully your DACA will be renewed soon!

If they don't ask - don't say anything!! you asking could trigger bad news for you.

Since, its freelancing, I think the chances that they ask you is low, since you are not necessarily an employee but rather a contractor

If is freelancing, then all they care is that you have a legit SSN to issue those 1099s.

Say nothing unless they ask, also get your senator or congressman on the case for an emergency expedite.

Buddy you've been out of status for years, you already can't adjust via most ways due to 245(c)(2).

I wouldn't tell them anything... Mine was expired for admit 2 weeks before my new one processed. Everything was fine.

And I had 2 jobs at the time.
