I've seen a lot of posts in FB lately stating USCIS is requiring EAD and bios fees to be filed separately, is this true?

I've always mailed one check for both so I have my doubts, also because more people are starting to file online.

I sent two checks, and USCIS cashed them both. I believe it was 410 for EAD and 85 for DACA. You also get 2 separate receipts.

I've always sent just one check with no problems. Note sure why they would need two separate checks all of the sudden now. At the end they just check to see if you've paid the total amount due.

So I don't believe this is true, unless I see that USCIS has information noting their change in policy.

It is on their site that the payments have to be separate. It is up to you, I sent two checks this month and they were accepted.

I've always known that but wasn't enforced, recent posts in FB seem to state USCIS is finally enforcing that policy.

Yeah, I think it is related to the system upgrades and online filings.
