Daca will die and congress won’t do anything to fix it.

My life has no meaning.

Hey,

I know at times thinking about our current state and the uncertainty that it entails can cause feeling anxious, stressed and depressed but our life has meaning. If you ever lived during a time when DACA didn’t exist, you could start practicing gratitude by thinking of all the things you’ve accomplished.

We are the definition of resilience, strength and hope. Try redirecting some of this negative energy into things you enjoy. We have an entire country to explore while we have the opportunity to remain with some status in the country. Surround yourself who are positive and remind you yourself of all your strengths. It’s not easy, but in life we’re always going to have our ups and downs. Currently I’m also feeling anxious since I have a pending AP case but I like to remind myself of the people who love me and all the wonderful things I’ve been able to accomplish.

I’ve also read that your parents are CG holders and you are under petition so you are in a much better place than most. Some of us have to see our parents also live in uncertainty. We are here to support each other but you also have to muster the energy to pull yourself out of negative mindsets such as these. Our lives matter.

Who said it will end? Even Trump couldn't end it...

Seriously, aren't you tired of worrying about your status? Tired of being depressed? Or just tired of being tired of things? Fuck it all. Just enjoy little thing in life and not give a fuck. At the end of your life, none of this shit will matter. How you treated others and your loved ones are the only things that will matter. Treat your loved ones right cause all the little quarrels and shit won't matter when they pass away.

Instead of ranting it's better to just go on with life. Don't waste your time thinking on something that you have no control (ex. govt ending daca). Just work, save money, find a citizen girlfriend, go on a roadtrip and explore the US, then eventually start a family. You are lucky you have daca while others don't have anything yet they are still happy they are in the US than in their poor country.
