Hi,

I am fortunate enough to recieve my GC over the week and was wondering if I need to officially surrender my DACA EAD; or if there are other steps I need to take with USCIS. Do I just let it expire?

Thanks,

Congrats. How was your interview? I think the EAD for DACA becomes invalid. I don’t think you have to surrender.

Thank you. I didn’t have to go through an interview which was surprising. I initially thought the approval was an error until I actually received the physical GC the other day.

No, it gets voided automatically the moment you become an LPR.
