2/28/2023 - I-485 and I-130 concurrent filing received. Submitted I-693 as well with the concurrent filing.

3/3/2023 - Received notice saying they will reuse my biometrics. Basically, no need to go to ASC for biometrics.

9/6/2023 - Case approved (no interview)

The one mistake I made in the beginning was not submitting I-765 in the beginning with the concurrent filing. However, I did end up submitting it later on 7/27/2023 and it was approved on 9/2/2023 after biometrics on 8/24/2023. However, since the GC got approved, this 765 approval really won't matter. There is NO FEE for I-765 for filing with I-485 and I-130. I just submitted the 765 to see whether I can get that EAD under C9 category (got help from someone on here with this) so that I don't have to spend the $495 to renew my DACA.

It's been a great journey. When you do file for yourself, and I truly hope that happens for everyone, I suggest doing it yourself in the case that your case is straight forward.

Damn, I hope mine is that fast. I didn't submit an I-693, will just wait for them to ask for it.

Thanks for your help.

That’s the right move. Don’t send I-693 without the RFE or else it could get lost.

I really think they are approving fast for new filers especially if the evidence is strong (strong evidence for bonafide marriage things like auto policies, life policies, joint bank accounts if you do have and utilize, DL that shows new address etc.) along with like pictures and stuff. Most likely no interview either.

I also did the I-864W so I didn’t have to do the full form which was very involved.

In my case I'm adjusting via VAWA and my I-360 has been approved for a while now, so it's just straight up I-485.

Congrats 2face. I’ve heard they’re approving quick to try and clear the backlog. If you have conditional, to apply for permanent is a huge backlog where most people are applying for citizenship before their conditional removal application is finished lol.

Good thing you won’t be able to vote next year for trump at least.

Myself. Very straight forward. You've got to provide the right evidence (I-485 - basically documents showing you entered legally, I-94, visa page with stamp, DACA approval and EAD are a plus, I-130 - Bonafide marriage documents, strong evidence is basically items that show you are mixing financial life, anything counts, life insurance/auto insurance, pictures etc.) Also you got to be smart and only do the minimum required. For example, most of us are eligible to file I-864W since we have the necessary credits, no need to do the long form for no reason, complete waste of time.
