As stupid as they are, it would be an even lower than low bar set for stupidity. At this point, considering the appointments, I would not be shocked though.

Unfortunately, there are discussions happening currently suggesting that he may not even require Senate confirmation for his Cabinet appointments.

He might push for a recess, which would enable the President to keep his Cabinet members for 2 years without Senate approval. We will have to wait and see if Thune allows this to happen.

The next administration is gonna be a shitshow, it is my hope their lack of good judgment works out in our favor.
