WASHINGTON — House lawmakers reintroduced a bill Wednesday that would create a legal pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children. The American Dream and Promise Act of 2025 would also set up citizenship pathways for immigrants with Temporary Protected Status or Deferred Enforced Departure.

If Rs love Dreamers or just those on DACA, why aren't they proposing amendments to strip out the TPS and DED components?

Becuase there's no good faith from Rs when it comes to helping us. Not even a sign of willingness to negotiate. I am so disappointed by Republicans treating us like garbage and will never vote Republican in my life.

But then again, what do we expect from the party that thinks we are poisoning the blood of the country?

Copper, remember Rand Paul? Where is he and why is he not proposing conditions (i.e. criminals deportation benchmark, border security funding, etc.) to be added to this that will make both sides happy? Becuase he was all HOT GAS.

No painting eggs for Easter, though, given the MAGA high prices. We should plan on painting potatoes for Easter instead.

At least they are doing something and getting us into the news cycle. If they don't do anything you whine about them not doing anything and if they do something then you whine about them not going far enough. Yes, they certainly could be more obstructive but they simply can't.

If I were them, a senator for example, I'd be on tour around the country just having a blast. Grand Canyon, international trips. Itd be a hoot. Let the republicans own this disaster in progress.
