The Trump administration is proposing to shorten ObamaCare’s annual open enrollment period by a month, a move the administration said is aimed at helping consumers pick the right plan.

According to a proposed rule released Monday, open enrollment would run from Nov. 1 through Dec. 15, instead of through Jan. 15.

In addition to the shortened enrollment period, the CMS on Monday proposed ending ObamaCare coverage for immigrants that came into the U.S. illegally as children, also known as “Dreamers.”

The proposal would undo a Biden-era rule that was estimated to allow 147,000 immigrants to enroll in coverage. A federal judge blocked the rule from being enforced in 19 states, and it is still being litigated.

Given the current events unfolding, it is not surprising to see this happening. The Supreme Court will ultimately decide to end DACA. This initial step may be just the beginning of even more challenges ahead.

I believe the majority of Dreamers already have insurance through their employers. Personally, I am willing to forgo access to the ACA in order to maintain our current status. Most of us already have coverage through our employers.

I hope that this is not an indication that DACA will be the next program to be rescinded, and to your point. I wouldn’t be surprised if Got_Daca is in this list. He has a record if you know what I mean

Great!

More disenfranchisement for us!

Yay

Maybe at the end of this crucible of pain there will be a greencard waiting for us...! Oh wait, oh no! The Elon Musk tribesmen need them more than us!

Quick , let's turn to the Democrats and beg them to save us!

Wait, what? We can't take center stage again ?!
What a bummer!
I guess that's the price we must pay so that the LGBTQIA+ Trans Non-binary Half-Ukrainian, Half-Palestinians Muslim immigrant protestors are saved! Gotta save those LGBTQIA+ Trans Non-binary Half-Ukrainian, Half-Palestinians Muslim immigrant protestors. They are oppressed and it would be so selfish of us to take center center from these special oppressed creatures again.

Oy vey! To the back of the bus we go again! See you next election!

I don't believe they will do that, as they would have likely already done so, especially with USCIS updating their forms and procedures. I suggest we not panic just yet.

It's possible that in this case, he may be willing to work with us staying here, but with the condition that we do not rely on taxpayer subsidies/benefits. Which is fair game.

Ill never forget this shit. lmao.

Many of the people in DACA, no longer very young, are far from “angels.” Some are very tough, hardened criminals. President Obama said he had no legal right to sign order, but would anyway. If Supreme Court remedies with overturn, a deal will be made with Dems for them to stay!
- @realDonaldTrump 11/12/19

He softened his stance since then. We are now humans who dont speak the language of our country of origin and own businesses or in some cases large businesses.
