Having American born kids was the best thing for The Undoc. Not anymore.

Every Undoc was so eager to have kids in America. It used to mean, if lucky, a cancellation of removal and greencard! Some used to call them "anchor babies" for some odd reason.

How the tables have turned!

Now it seems like having American born young kids could be very big problem for The Undoc. If The Undoc parents get detained for months and even deported thereafter, the kids could be left in a very horrible situation! The Anchor seems to have become not that strong.

I, for one, don't have kids. Used to bug me. But now I feel less burdened by the whole situation.

I knew that there would come a time when not having a kid would be a positive.

If I had kids and questionable status, I would be scared shtless right now.

Can't imagine what those parents are going through at this moment.

ICE/CBP just seem so relentless!

It's a bit cowardly in my opinion. It's not like they'll be around forever. Most Republicans voters are over the hill age wise.

The economic uncertainty is going to hurt them. Groceries have only gone up and they voted in someone to raise prices. First on imports via on off tariffs, then by deporting all the workers keeping food prices from going to the moon. This pride and hubris is coming back to bite them.

It's still wild to me that they heard tariffs and actually believed other nations would pay them. They really do believe anything politicians tell them. Is this a symptom of the country being past its prime? Anti intellectualism masquerading as differing viewpoints. The ongoing measles epidemic.

There is more pain on the horizon. Forecast: bad

I think probably the worst part is how they refer to the undocumented as the worst of the worst, yet 75 to 80% of those deported don't have criminal records. A government that lies with impunity is corrosive to a civilized society especially when your average guy trusts their words.

What's to stop a democrat from doing all this to republican voters? Maybe extending the power of the executive isn't such a great idea. Maybe having a weak supreme court isn't such a wise idea after all. Poor original design with no term limits. How could it go right?

Remember the Tea Party people who were so afraid of "Big Govt Tyranny" trying to take away their rights?

They are awfully quite when heavily armed Big Govt bullies unarmed undocs. Bet they are actually happy about it. "As long as it is not me who they are targeting!"

They are only afraid of big government when it's not their "team" in control.

Everyone on this forum was shocked when they read this.

Your girlfriends are too busy punching you in the face rather than letting you inseminate them.
