Do you guys think they're gonna ban India, China, or mexico? What happens to the allocation for each country that gets banned? Would this make the green card queue move along faster?

I don’t know about India or China. But I doubt Mexico is on the list. They are their biggest trading partners and millions of Americans cross the border into Mexico either for vacation or family purposes.

China will never get banned, they have too much on the US. Trump even backtracked on the student visas for China.

MX is unlikely to be banned. It is a country full of hard-working, family and culture-centered people with an increasingly highly educated young workforce.

PEW Research Center's latest data show that of $14 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S., only *4.3* are Mexicans.; the lowest number recorded since 1991 and most of them have been here for decades. Honestly, Sheinbaum and Trump should do a deal for legalization of MX citizens and full accountability from the U.S. on illegal guns and weapons that directly contribute to violence in many areas of the country.

Conde-Nast Traveler ranked it the 2nd most beautiful country in the world after Australia. Millions of people travel to and hundreds of thousands of foreigners since the pandemic have relocated to Mexico. It just doesn't make sense to ban the country for something that Mexican citizens have absolutely nothing to do with.

*Edited for accuracy on the number of Mexican citizens who are undocumented.
