Do you think there will be any interest group in the US that will be willing to help us?

here's a few that I found on the net:

The first two groups, definitely not. The last two I believe would be in favor of DREAM, but there is not much more they could to help us than through lobbying and scholarly articles.

why? i was reading in my government class textbook and it said that interest groups are a way to influence politicians to act on their behalf. american democracy is a pluralist system so i just thought if we can get these interest groups to push forward with cir.

most interest groups don't have much interest in us...

We kind have to make our own interest group but since we don't have bling bling... no power no influence.

hahahaha. The government class textbooks also say that third parties are a natural force and can be powerful in American politics because they encourage diversity of ideas in the political spectrum.

I was from the beginning. But if 747 is a bona fide supporter, than welcome to DAP!

747 the reason some members are suspicious is because some of the organizations whose websites you post it are actually against us. Take a moment to read what they're real interests are.
Probably just an honest mistake. Just because it says they are for immigration reform doesn't mean they are for the kind of reform that would benefit us.
