Hey, it's Danny The Skinhead...

Doubt anybody remembers me... But anyways... I'm back... And with the same story repeating...

Caught again driving. This time was bad... I was treated like a criminal... I have court in November and they are accusing me of not showing up on time to pay for my tickets. So... they're trying to shove an additional $1,000 fine. Great...

It's late, and I'm tired... so if this post doesnt make sense to anyone... I'm sorry...

Well, I'm back and with plenty of ideas on my mind.

Ready To Fight.

If you were driving without a DL then I have no pity on you... sorry. You did commit a crime and well you need to pay your fines. Are they accusing you that you didn't show up in time or did it really happen? Because if you didn't show up then you just screwed yourself over.

It doesn't sound as if he is looking for our pity. But even when driving without a license is a crime, I do believe that eveyone is entitled to make their own choice. I'm not encouraging people to drive without a license.

I'm just encouraging people to make their personal choice...if you want to drive...good...if you want to take the bus...good...if you want to walk...that's even better because it is healthier.

Where I'm going we, as DREAMers should not judge others based on the choices they have taken...in this instance: driving without a license.

I'm pointing this out because in the past I've been "attacked" or "accused" of driving without a license here in the forum. Everyone knows that if I could get a DL, I would had done so a long time ago.

In conclusion, we should all stand together and be united since we all are in the same boat.

uh what? What else can we judge a person by if not by their choices? their skin color or their sex? Juang you don't know wtf you are talking about. EVER. Just because he is a dreamer doesn't mean we should condone his illegal activities. Driving without a license is dangerous and should be illegal for ANYONE, especially us dreamers. Dream Act is designed for undocumented students who DO NOT break laws. If you are a dreamer and you drive without a license, you're just giving anti-immigration people another excuse to oppose us. SHAME ON YOU.

That sounds like an oxymoron to me.

I am with Ark here... I agree that we shouldn't encourage the activity but we can't exactly condemn or "shame" them because of our situation. There are many situations in our dreamer's lives where public transportation is simply not an option. So let's not condemn... nor encourage, we gotta do what we gotta do, just try not to talk about it on the forum much.

Wait so Danny you are undocumented like us? You got pulled over and only got a fine for that? That's pretty lucky, I imagined getting deported lol
