thanks for finding that.
this is good news but for some reason we're hearing more about CIR than about DREAM.... in my opinion i believe that DREAM should be passed before CIR. unless DREAM goes under an education reform and the CIR under immigration reform, we need to look out for Obama's intention. CIR could take a lot longer to help us because of the magnitude of people that fall under this. Let's see what happens..

Let them say what they want about CIR. Our focus is DREAM and we need to work together to find ways to attatch DREAM. Once we get DREAM out there and passed, we'll focus our efforts onto CIR.

I agree, if they try to pass CIR instead of Dream, we need to raise hell and make sure they put Dream first.

we wouldn't need DREAM if CIR is passed.. the negative side to it is that CIR will take much much longer to be approved and to actually affect us... there is a HUGE line of people out of the country waiting for their citizenship to come through.

I know that, but everyone knows DREAM appeals more than giving "12 million people" a chance.

We need DREAM so we can come out of the shadows and fight for CIR which is obviously a more complex issue, and like you said, an issue that would take even longer than a smaller piece of legislation.

yeah once we have DREAM approved we'll have a "legal voice" to fight CIR.

The reality is that USCIS had a huge backlog before the current President took office & one of his priorities were to get it under a manageable level. This NOT really any attempt by the "FEDS preparing for CIR".

I can't wait to see the next article mention,"Feds preparing for Dream act".
