I need some help with blog hosting

Hey guys I wanted to start a blog and I was wondering if you guys knew a good web hosting company or plan or something. Thanks in advance

If you're not planning on hosting videos and photos on a server you might just want to get a blog on wordpress.com its free but i think if you want to get a .com domain name its little bit more. if you plan to host files and such then a good web host is Hostgator.com

i was actually thinking about .com. I registered from namecheap.com last night. Are they any good?
