Those of you that are from Florida or have knowledge of life there. How easy would it be for me to get around without a license? and/or get a job? I'm planning a move there and I'm worried about those factors.

P.S. W. Palm Beach is the destination.

I have family that lives in FL and I dont think it's too easy to get around without a license.. Maybe if you're lucky you can get a job at a supermarket or something but why are you planning to move? Sorry for asking.

I live in Miami Dade, south of palm beach. If you don't mind taking the bus, the transit system down here is great. You don't have to worry too much about immigration raids in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami Dade counties. In terms of finding jobs its kinda hard, cause we depend heavily down here in south Florida on the construction industry for work.. so I'm not too sure about finding a job.

I'm in Miami Dade too and if you want a way to get around then Miami is the best place in Florida, public transportation is good down here, other than that it's kinda hard to get around without a license in Fl.

MIAMI is where it's all at mayne!!!

why are you moving from jerzey to FL? I was plannign on moving from FL back to NJ...jsut because its easier to move around.

but yeah, whatever you do, stay away from central FL. Public transportation sucks, and its really hard to find work.

How difficult is it to find a job down there guys? and the cost of living?

I second that, central fl is not exactly the best location to find a job for people in our situation, and wihtout a car it is very hard to get anywhere

I will visiting miami and i won't have a car, but I am worried that I will be asked in the bus, tri-rail system from a border patrol agent about my status. I will be mostly in downtown area, miami dade and miami beach areas and will have to use bus to get around. Anyone that takes the bus every day around these areas?

I third that. A simple gas station visit is hard here.
