Hi All,

today was an awesome!

I met Dick Durbin's chief legal counsel and asked him about the legislative priorities for this year. He said CIR was high on the list. In fact, he mentioned DREAM in particular. He is hopeful that it will be PASSED this yr due to the democratic shift in Congress and how our new President. They are successfully lobbying other officials to support DREAM. He also talked about Durbin's commitment to reforming the entire immigration system.

Great news everyone!

This is great news but I just hope that this guy's "hope" isnt the same as mine, I hope he backs up what he's saying by facts because a lot of us can hope but not have the effect that he has on Durbin and on congress.

Thanks for the news!
He didnt mention anything about what month?

I still love Durbin to pieces though. when he pushes the Dream act i can feel he's speaking from the heart.

This sounds like great news but i really need the DREAM ACT NOW! This recession is taking a toll on my family like crazy. Our income went from 4k/month to 1000 and we are a family of 6. We stopped paying for our house months ago and we can get evicted anytime soon. We have NOWHERE to go. Not even back because we sold all of our property there for the down payment for our house. My whole world is falling apart and there's nothing I can legally do about it.

This is awesome! I like the part about him lobbying for support. We really need to get ready for round 2

Senator Durbin is exceptionally passionate about the Dream Act, I hope the setting of the political environment serve us Dreamers and Durbin well.

I am more confident that the DREAM will pass the secession for some reason, maybe its is the fact the the democrats have a majority or the president is on our side but i feel the this is our year. But that dose not mean that we stop all the hard work and kick back, we are going to have to work extra hard because the opposition knows we have the majority, and they will do anything to sabotage any hope type of immigration reform. Whether its small like the DREAM and CIR or large like complete Reform they wont stop so we better not.
