great read, worth checking out.

doubt it.

I was at WonderCon in SF yesterday just for the Watchmen panel. It's a pretty awesome movie if you asked me. They showed about 20 mins of it and it's just like the comic. Why don't you watch the movie before you judge?

I don't see how they would be able to fit everything into the movie.

Although I admit I will be in line on opening day.

Hopefully this movie turns out great!

The pirate sequences WILL NOT be on the movie.
Apparently that comic book wiull be made into a different straight to dvd release (this only applies if you have read the comic itself)

This movie blows.

First of all, it's like 3 hours long, or at least it seemed that way. Then it's also factually innacurate, and on top of that they make Nixon seem like a nice, thoughtful, man who's looking out for the country while demonizing the Russians.

Also, for some reason they put a fascist, misogynist jerk on a pedestal, and a pacifist, intellingent guy as the villian.

As for the costumes, I couldn't help but notice that Laurie didn't shave that well, or maybe she had razor bumps but it was kind of distracting. And then I kept giggling everytime Dr Manhattan(the blue guy) paraded around sans bottoms, I'm guessing it's always cold around him.

The only thing I enjoyed was the opening montage which shows the heroes through the ages.
