"depression"

just wanted to make a quick poll about dreamers that have or have had depression because of there immigration status.

yeah i think my IQ lowered 15 points because of it. -_-

I have preexisting depression to begin with, but it's made worse on those days when I feel DREAM is beyond our reach--not for me per se, but for my gf. I guess it's kind of indirect.

Last night i couldnt sleep, ive been an insomniac the last couple of month. All night im on the dream act portal.This message board is amazing.

I blame pop music...

What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?

if i start feeling depressed and helpless, i try to snap out of it by reminding myself how, besides my status, my life is pretty good.

I tend to be semi-depressed sometimes, but thanks to juang and other DAP mates I found my "fuck it attitude" and give a rats ass about things that bothered me.
