disappointed

I joined DAP, thinking that I'd find some helpful people that sympathize with eachother and the situation that we're all involved in (and don't me wrong, I have met some very amazing people, with amazing stories). But for the majority of the part, most people come on this portal to bicker with eachother, talk about nonsense, and be completely rude to other's postings. I stood up for someone the other day about a certain thread that ACCIDENTALLY got posted twice, because they had formerly posted it in the wrong forum. I don't know why people made such a big deal out it and certainly accusing someone of "trying to get more attention" by posting twice isn't what i would call a nice way of disagreeing. I didn't join this site to get into little "online fights" with people, I mean comon', didn't everybody grow out of that after middle school? I'm disappointed that DAP didn't turn out to be what I thought it'd be...but i wish all of the people that I've gotten to know the past couple days the best of luck in their future. I'm still rooting for the Dream Act, but i guess DAP isn't for me....good luck to the rest of you! and God Bless!

Who's fighting? It seems that you're the only one making a big deal out of it. The person can either acknowledge the fact that it was an accident, or just move on.

first of all im the the bf... and i put that twice because i accidently put it in the wrong forum.. and didnt know that you can erase it.. im new first of all and KMAN said i was just trying to get attention which was wrong because clearly that wasnt my intention ok... i really dont know y u were harassing her for my mistake... and the fact that you went into conclusion about me trying to get attention was wrong... and those comments didnt need to be said... just end it ok... she got me involved into this.. and i wanna keep it that way.. and for the rest the poeple who got into it im sorry but it was a misunderstanding... mebelle has been at my side... and she was just trying to help... so to end it just leave it alone plz.. because this site is not make enemies.. but to bring poeple together for a very great cause... something we really need to work together on... every single one of us has a part... ive learned alot from this forum...i think think that this site will make a difference... all im saying is that if a person makes a mistake undersatand it.. if a person asks a question just answer it... we dont need to make any other comments... just say something helpful... there has been a lot said over MY thread... i got my answer... thats it done... i really appreciate it beacuase IT ANSWERED MY QUESTION... i love this site and made alot of friends already... helping each other thats all we need to do

Are you not generalizing this a bit? Although i do not know the full extent of what happend or what you you are talking about, Blaming DAP as a whole does not sound right.

I personally do not like the way some people reply eaither, but do not forget that we are not all the same. Should we not just accept the way each one of us is?

I undrestand that you are a bit upset because of the way some one responded. So i think that person might owe an apology to you and you might owe an apology to DAP community for generalizing it as a place for " Online Fighting" . DAP represents millions of people and not just a few individuals.


P.S. I do sympathize with you though. We can do without all the accusations ( including your own ) and we should just get along.

I was going to reply to mebelle but Bluestar said everything that was in my mind. I'm very sorry to tell you this but it is pathetic how you generalize. I have never gotten into any fights here or any disagreements and I never had treated anyone bad (if anything I'm always the first to welcome everyone) and I know that most members here are like me too, so for you to come here and say that DAP as a whole doesn't work for you and that you're disappointed is extremely ridiculous. If you dont like certain people here you always have the choice to block them and you dont need to catch feelings about anything that happens online.

I do hope you come back because some people might have given you the wrong impression or you must have been reading the wrong threads because if you dont think sections like "Taking Action" and like "The NewsRoom" is helpful then nothing will be.
