On Dream Act, let’s retain ‘brains’
The people who oppose the Dream Act never mention the cost of getting these young people to graduation and then telling them to get the hell out. It’s truly stupid. These young people could really make a difference, and we don’t want them.
The same thing happens with foreign students who graduate college, and we send them away to better their home country when they could and want to help us.

Don’t add to student debt load
In the United States we have always cherished our ability to improve ourselves and move up the socio-economic ladder based on our efforts. In fact, we have been called the land of opportunity — and for good reason. - 3:10 PM ET
Do your part, GOP
If the Republican Party wants to get rid of big government, perhaps the members of the Republican Party who receive campaign money from big business should convince big business to start regulating itself by creating its own regulatory board that would work to convince its members to not outsource jobs and offer affordable health insurance. Insurance premiums should be based on what one earns since it’s unfair to expect an employee barely above minimum wage to pay the same amount as would a multi-million dollar salaried CEO.
