on DREAM Act as introduced in House and Senate

Rep. Lee Terry's stance on immigration focuses first on border security. "Once the borders are secure from illegal immigrants we must reform our current, archaic immigration laws. We must develop sensible, labor-based non-amnesty guest worker programs." - taken from his website:

I see a hint of hope with Rep. Lee's statement of supporting a "guest worker program." It at least recognizes the need for immigrants to remain here based on the skills and/or work they will do for the U.S.A. DREAM Act students would also be providing skills and/or work for the U.S.A. too after their training / college / certificate programs.
