Rep. Greg P. Walden (R-OR)

Do this to help:

  1. Learn how to find reliable information about a legislator's stance on the DREAM Act.

  3. Have some cake; you just helped the DREAM Act campaign!

According to Immigrants'List.org, which is a political action committee, Rep. Walden does not support immigratio reform.

Based on Rep. Walden's voting record, we can see that he favors the reduction of immigration, both legal and illegal. He has voted to deny "anchor babies" of undocumented parents the U.S citizenship guaranteed under the 14th Amendment of the U.S Constitution. Not only has Rep. Walden voted in favor of denying undocumented individuals a drivers license, in 2003 he voted in favor of an amendment to fight foreign ID's for undocumented immigrants.

Simply by looking at his voting record we can see that the likelyhood of a vote in favor of a comprehensive immigration reform, or the DREAM Act, would be a nay. I will attempt to contact Rep. Walden in hopes of getting a clear stance on the Dream Act but in the meantime I think it's safe to assume his vote is a nay.
