"IMMIGRATION: I strongly support efforts to stop illegal immigration, improve border security, and develop a border management system that enhances homeland security while facilitating legitimate travel and trade. In 2006, I voted for the Secure Fence Act to authorize and construct a fence on our southern border to prevent illegal immigration and keep our borders secure. We must continue to strengthen our immigration policies until we secure our borders and successfully account for all foreign visitors within our country". Rep. Chandler has voted yes on issues such as the Real ID Act, border security, secure fence act 2006, but he has voted no on H.R. 3722 which would require Hospitals to report undocumented immigrants. http://www.votesmart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=1891&type=category&category=40&go.x=12&go.y=12
Due to the fact that Rep. Chandler does not have a clear voting record when it comes to being for immigration or against it i have to say that it is unclear if he is for the Dream act.
