on DREAM Act as introduced in House and Senate

Rep. Schmidt does not have an extensive voting record when it comes to immigration reform. She has gone on the record as to voting in favor of increased border security and increased law enforcement within the country (1). She also voted to not allow children born to illegal immigrants (disparagingly called "anchor babies") to gain citizenship, prohibit people with a criminal record of becoming citizens, and to end the "Visa Lottery" program where individuals from around the word are given a Green Card to enter the U.S.A. (2).

She has an "unknown voting record" when it comes to immigration reform (1).
