Since my first days in Congress last year, I have been working to pass legislation to secure our borders. I am a cosponsor of the Secure America through Verification and Enforcement, or SAVE Act, a three step plan to stop illegal immigration. To date, 48 Democrats and 93 Republicans have come together to support the bill’s goals of securing our borders and holding employers accountable for who they hire - a simple directive our constituents elected us to achieve.
