So for those struggling to find evidence after RFEs Carl Shusterman made a post about using facebook:

Quote:

And, of course, every time you post something on Facebook, the date of the post is recorded. Pretty cool. But since people all over the world are on Facebook, how do your posts show that you were present in the U.S.?
Easy! If your posts tell what you are doing, what movies you are seeing, what clubs you are hanging out with your friends at, it doesn’t take a detective to figure out your physical location. If your friends tag you in a photo taken in front of the Matterhorn, USCIS knows that you were at Disneyland that day, not in Switzerland.
Similarly, your e-mails, your MySpace or Friendster posts and any other web page where you reveal your identity works just as well as Facebook.

hah! I know I used facebook on my RFE reply. haha! By the way, those who have the same timeline as I do, I replied to RFE 11/14 and they received it 11/15 with matching notification that it's being reviewed now. CLOSER and CLOSER!

Update to my application:

Called uscis after a month of still never receiving an RFE letter and already requesting a new one to be sent. They said that on Oct 25th, they sent me an email to disregard the RFE notice and that I my i821d was actually approved that same day. Which makes sense, seeing how I've already received my EAD card on oct 31st and my ssn came in the mail today. Still, I don't understand why it had to be so complicated. lol. but yay mee.

If you're talking about WoW I called Blizzard and they couldn't provide anything for me. I have played the game from 2006 - present and I just needed some evidence for 2007.

Thanks for the update. I've added the info on your feedback tab.

I had another person have RFE disregarded as well. I will pm him and ask if he can post his experience about RFE disregards.

For those of you who sent RFE and received by USCIS on next day, did you guys send them by express mail? Envelope comes with has only po box address and I want to know it would be
okay to send them by express mail to po box address.
Thank you in advance

if you send it via express, make sure you waive the signature.

Well both of my brother's RFE was cancelled!! After the update on the USCIS website, we waited two weeks and then called USCIS for not receiving the RFE letter. They said they will send out another letter, we got a letter saying that RFE was cancelled and told us to disregard the RFE and the case is under review and with an officer. It was NOT update on the USCIS site so we were still concerned what is going on, so I called AGAIN. The lady told us that both of my brother's case is approved already. =)

Do we really need to prove that we were here the exact day we submit our DACA application??? What are other ways that you guys used (I would not want to submit Facebook Evidence) unless I have no other option.

That makes no freaking sense at all. Who mailed your application? a freaking ghost? wth?? I mean you obviously sign your paperwork and all. I signed my damn cover letter the day I sent it and I put the day before on it. makes no sense

Just send documents that prove continuous presence until the date you send your application, does not need to be for every single day people!

i sent mine until June 23 2012 is that okay or they needed all the way to august 21 2012 when i applied

The following link was provided in the forum:

http://shusterman.com/2012/09/using-...plication.html

It basically explains that Facebook is a good source to get supporting evidence as the date appears besie each activity, but at the very end says: "By the way, you also need to prove that you are present in the U.S. on the day that you submit your DACA application. If you ask me to be your friend on Facebook that day, I promise to accept your invitation!"

I never heard of that and also think is not required as the forms will have the DATE of submitance and signature plus the Money Order will also have the same Date and our name!!!

I believe Shusterman is referring to the following guideline:

Quote:

Were physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012, and at the time of making your request for consideration of deferred action with USCIS;
Though signing the form should be enough proof that you were physically present in the US on date of making request. I didn't send anything specifically for that and was approved. I think Shusterman was just making light of the guideline...

Re: *****RFE Thread <- (Request for Evidence)****

Okay so, i just recently checked my I-821D case status online yesterday. Usually the "Initial Review" is highlighted but yesterday it wasnt. I got a little confused and i re-typed my case number again twice to make sure i typed it correctly. And still a no show. I read the message below and it said that....
Quote:

On November 16, 2012, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I821D Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
so my question is, how long does it take until i receive the RFE mail and how long will it take for them to review it and make a decision once they get my response?

Ok so my RFE stated that I need to proof my continuous residence from June 2009- February 2012. I sent it already now hoping for the best. Btw I did send that evidence in my original packet I guessing they over looked it.

It all depends my friend! Look on the first page of this thread and you can read about everyone who got one! I did too I sent mine back this tuesday and it arrived 2 pm on friday and my status has not been updated that they received it yet so just hang tight it takes about 3 days to get the letter. In my case I did not get it but my lawyer did which I thought was strange but at least i got it

You did? cos I know some people just did 2 years of high school and got their diplomas. For all they know, you could have asked a friend to let you scan him and then modify to put your name.

College or University? I dont think I was once asked for neither when I resisted at the nearest community college. For university they didn't ask either since I transfer my cc credits but you were asked so good luck

i think community colleges are a little different but when i was registering for my college they asked to see my diploma, they wouldn't let me register for classes until i showed them it and they scanned it and put it on file from what i remember
