GOP resistance to legalizing us is all about votes. I work with many people from southern and republican states and they don't really care about us being given citizenship and most support it except for the most extreme.
The issue is that the GOP believes that any immigrant legalized will vote Democrat. They will always try to legalize the least amount of people possible, if any, because of this. I believe in 2025, the GOP will take up immigration again and something will pass the republican senate, house, and WH. I don't think we will like it though. Most likely a 3year renewable work permit for us in exchange for heavy immigration change. |

People with DACA along with their USC friends are the ones who still have a voice and can protest but everybody's quiet....I guess maybe it's better they don't protest if people start waving Mexican flags like they did in 2005. |
