Cotton is talking as if he has any clout lmao . He is in the very minority even amongst republicans and he’s trying to make himself relevant. He is just like sesssions , he can have raise Act attached to it and he’ll still find a reason to vote against a final bill. We have seen this game before.

that way each side has given up something

I like it better when we're all on one side and we form against those are trying to slow us down (UWD, DACA people pushing for more than we all know will never pass) instead of arguing with each other as if we know anything for sure or have any say on the final bill and/or votes.

Border protection for DreamAct, not just Daca. And everify has to come w legalization otherwise it does not work.

Legalizing only Daca is leaving half of childhood arrivals out. No. These hardliners want everything in enforcement, demand that evetybody else be speedily deported and leave aged out Dreamers plus those too young to apply yet out?
No way.
Pelosi, Schumer, Durbin need to demand DreamAct as the minimum in exchange of all these things.

I wish older dreamers would be covered but as mentioned several times before, the current version of the DA is too liberal. You CANNOT include individuals who came here AFTER DACA was issued. We are walking right into GOP's argument that "Amnesty encourages illegal immigration".
