Even as GOP leaders dismiss the idea of adding DACA to the must-pass spending bill this week, bipartisan talks on an immigration bill took place in Durbin's office Thursday and Friday and will continue later today

But they have no "leverage" if GOP still votes for it, or we putting faith in the senate? Like 3-4 of them are a yes because we're not worth the shutdown on american people.

With McCain being out til January they need 9 Dems to break filibuster in the senate. Mind you, the bill the senate sends back to the house will include some dem priorities. House conservative members might back out. Ryan will need further dem votes in house to pass spending bill

the threshold goes down if McCain and Cochran are absent, from 100 to 98.

so it stays the majority, they still need 49 for the tax bill.

Yeah forgot they need simple majority for CR, so why would Democrats lose leverage they don't have, until their.votes are needed in the spending bill, or is this the actual spending bill, man by the end of this journey most of us will be great politicians, the good kind tho.

Continuing resolution is not part of budget reconciliation. I think they need 60 votes (59 if the 2 republican senators are absent).

Survey email from moveon.org

If Sen. Feinstein votes for a GOP spending bill that does not include the Dream Act, would you be more likely to support a challenger against her in the 2018 Democratic primary for Senate?

Click below to let us know what you think:

Yes, I would support a primary challenger if Sen. Feinstein votes for a GOP spending bill without Congress fixing the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, by passing the Dream Act.

No, this would not make me more likely to support a primary challenger to Sen. Feinstein.

Lord they gettin ready to Primary a bitch

@SenFeinstein according to this poll 79% of MoveOn members responded that they’d support a primary challenger against you if you vote for for a GOP spending bill that does not include the #DreamAct So take a stand & support the #DreamActNow
