Agreed. They certainly did not give Trump what he wanted even after he shut the government down and hurt so many American workers. They will just have us wait.

Trump has been getting a lot of money for border security though. Before it was 25 bil for DACA, now he's just getting money and no DACA is included.

It looks like Congress is going to pass 4.5 billion in additional funding for the boarder / humanitarian aid soon. Not sure if DACA will be attached but probably not.

So it looks like this issue is going to get dragged on for awhile (unless something happens within the next 2 weeks) or until Hanen / SC gets involved. Even then, Congress might not pass anything because one party will ask for too much for a compromised to be reached.

Semantics; he gets money but not for his wall prototypes that he erected in San Diego. The fencing that is being erected just expands a little on what previous presidents have started. Democrats also do it to show they are for alternative, effective forms of border security without giving him that stupid wall.

Trump may spin it as money for the wall, but his educated supporters know that is bullshit. So, it may seem like he is getting what he wants--but not really. No wall money; no changes to asylum law. We don't get anything either.

The only people who believe that the wall is being built are idiots who live in an alternate universe.
