I've tried twice, and failed, but I think third time is the charm. I'm my worse enemy and I'm quite sure one day I will catch up and "get me". Half my adult life was spent in the US, I know nothing...

I've been told before that if you're an 18 yr old USC, you can appeal or apply for your parents (non USC) to get a visa to stay in the US.

any truth to that or any stipulation?

then what's it mean by 'you haven't accrued a single day of unlawful stay' that i hear a lot of people say, unless judge has seen you...what the significance of that with regards to the ban

yes you have to be legal...

but I still don't totally understand overstayers of f1 visas with d/s....

as you said, getting another visa would be nearly impossible and even if you got it, for most, once you arrive at the checkpoint, they scan you and well, you have just triggered the ban

it is very difficult to get a visa even after serving the ban....VERY difficult

she did have driver's license and a real social security card...I don't think they finger print or anything for those

and of course she did...

I know someone who perhaps fit the bill..

she came to US as student in the 90s, never finger printed or anything, stayed till last year and left. She did go back to her home country once but...

if u search Google, u'll read about people who came to the US legally either as student or tourist, then overstayed in the US, then left(no deportation or any other trigger) by...

Can u elaborate on that...i'm not sure why he would be questioned for anything...i assume MOST usc do not bring their passports there anyway since it specifically states not required.

I have a valid driv lic and have been to hawaii many times no probs. Will this be similar going to PR? THanks.
