Re: Alex Padilla "With or without the parliamentarian DACA is on the table"

If Congress does not pass anything this year for DACA, the Supreme Court would probably cancel DACA in 2022/2023.

Judging by what you said, this would probably mean that all submitted renewals...

Re: Biden wins White House, vowing new direction for divided US

That's true. I'm hoping that the Biden administration can maneuver the court system where DACA at least survives in its current state, as the administration should not plan or expect the senate to...

Re: Biden wins White House, vowing new direction for divided US

I'd say keep the no AP/1-year renewal DACA in place.

Judge Hanen would strike down any new executive order that would expand DACA. My worse fear would be a court injunction ending DACA renewals...

Re: Q1 2020 Expiration Renewals

Anyone expiring in 2021 thinking about sending in their renewals super early before the Supreme Court rules? Worst case, we'd lose $500, right?

Re: Supreme Court to take DACA next fall.

Building walls, separating babies from parents, deporting DREAMERs. That could all energize Democrats and Republicans for different reasons.

If properly campaigned on, I think the immigration...

Re: After long delay, U.S. Supreme Court may act on 'Dreamers' immigrants

If SCOTUS does not take the case, Trump, Miller, and...

They won't have to try very hard as it probably won't even get a vote in the Senate. People will blame Democrats because Democrats botched their 'best' chance during both the shutdowns.
