Straight from DHS, DACA are allowed a limited Real ID. Not sure if states can ask for more. NY process online asks for EAD, i767, and passport "certified" by DHS, so I might give it a shot in person...

After May 3, 2023, if you're going to use a license it must be Real ID (star on it), but TSA shows you can still use a foreign passport, not sure what if they'll check status.

I've read the requirements here in NY to get a Real ID, but EAD is not enough and needs to be supplemented with Passport (with Visa or I-94 attached). Is travelling not an option after this date?

I live in NY and every time I went to a provider's page it would ask me to go through the NY insurance market page. They really don't make it easy if you want to just pay for your own... Any ways too...

Update on my status: Applied for renewal in October, and after just checking the USCIS website the card was produced on Dec 31. What a great way to start the year!

Will update on the card's...

I'm waiting on approval, got a letter that they'd be skipping biometrics. Since the court stated that the reduction to 1 year was illegitimate, I am hoping they give me a 2 year card.

It will stay as is, may be go back to 2 years. I don't see any DA passing even though a majority supports it, including republican voters. GOP will just hold the grudge for 4 years.

I think Biden will win, those who didn't vote in 2016 bc they thought Trump had no chance will probably come out and vote. "uge" voter turnout

similar time line, i sent mine out 10/9, and arrived 10/13. the check i sent has not been cashed either. i can't remember how soon i received any notifications with my previous renewals but i do...
