Just a note on using software to file. I was using H&R Block online to file. Right before filing it prevents me from filing with my SSN because it doesn't match the W-2 SSN. It worked fine before...

Just got back from SSA. Lady said the only thing she could give me was a print-out that said the social was assigned to me. I'm guessing that'll work for what I need it.
