I know a friend of mine is being sponsored by one of the big four accounting firms.
He came to the US with a student visa and right now he lives in California and supposedly will have his status fixed due to the job opportunity.
My question was that since he had a student visa and we may have a work permit, how would it not be possible for us to be sponsored?
Okay you work for a certain company with your EAD, you ask them to summit employer sponsorship to petition you. You are working for them legally and you are needed because only you can do that job.
They will probably give you an interview appointment in whatever country you are a citizen of. You can go and come back with Advanced Parole.
In the application it never says you have to have a visa status, you dont even have to be living in the us, for an employer to sponsor you.
