case in point? notice how Napolitano openly supports DREAM but skirts around the issue of CIR. i understand the benefits that CIR gets from associating it with the DREAM ACT, but its time to separate the two issues. one is palatable although still highly controversial, the other is downright politically toxic.
i understand your frustration but the fact of the matter is that those of us who DO want DA first really have no power to influence the decision. The fact is that our allies, those who have influence within the congress want CIR so they will get a shot at CIR.

Unless 10,000 of us dreamers show up at the capitol and demand otherwise, we can't do anything about it. I volunteer to go. We just need to find 9,999 more dreamers.

thats how grassroots movement start/work. i am passionate about this because i really do believe DREAM has better chance of passing if its separated from CIR.

personally, im researching and writing a 5 page letter based on this whole idea of DREAM ACT VS CIR and have it read by UCLA law professor before i send it to AILA and my state senators and congressman.

People, seriously. If you haven't noticed yet, we're not Senators. Dream will either be a stand alone or CIR, and at this point, all indications are it's going to be tied to CIR. Relax and stop complaining about things beyond your control.

Just work hard for whatever scenario comes up.

For real. I have no idea who these people think they are but they're definately not winning anything by trying to make themselves and their reasoning more superior to others.
