No wonder DREAM can't pass, cause the people who its suppose to benefit are misinform about it...

If dream were to be introduced, this time it will passed.

Check this link : http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-1751

You can see the republican support it has, it is enough off in order to be pass as a law.

CIR in the other hand has no republican support, just throw the Dream act first, if they don't act fast, then it will probably never pass.

DA bill has been written AND introduced. There is NO CIR bill. Whether it's been written, nobody knows. We just know it hasn't been introduced. DA was included in the CIR framework. But not EVERYBODY would qualify for DA like they would for CIR. DA has bipartisan support. CIR has nothing.

THEREFORE the DA bill can be voted on as a standalone bill. Meaning just DA and nothing else.

Get it?

Yayy!! he hasn't given up on DREAM!!! Idk about u guys but I have a good feeling about this... It'll pass this year you'll see!!! We're so far ahead already. I personally was hoping for CIR but it seems as though the chances are fairly slim compared to DREAM. I'll be able to help out my parents with dream while congress keeps working on CIR.

Yes, I just hope they go for the Dream Act already; I will also be driving, helping my parents and all. Help them out for 3 more years because after they can become an us resident because my brother was born here. And also i will be able to keep my studies and receive all the scholarship i have been offer.

ok...do u think, if they think CIR has a chance and since DA is part of the package, would they vote on DA before CIR or they are going to wait until CIR to be introduced and (knock on wood) won't get enough votes?
