it will be brought up if the tax cut debate doesn't consume too much floor time ! So, keep our fingers crossed that Dem and Rep won't spend too much floor time to fight over tax cut

Who the hell is lisa brown? I don't remember any senators from Washington with that name.

I'm pretty sure she's saying that the ones who have always supported it is going to support the stand-alone version. I think this is a done deal if we can get most of the Democrats and some Republicans. The problem with last time was that Republicans don't want the bill to be attached to the defense bill.

yah and this time they're gana say they want it attached to CIR. Hopefully the ones that said they'd vote it as stand alone haven't changed their minds yet, then again that's a slim chance. I'd be highly surprised if those repubs stuck to their words.

That sounds realistic. So DA probably in the Lame Duck session.

Try LeMieux again. He hasn't said his position, but during the def. act debate, he said he sympathizes with us and said that DA is more suitable in an immigration bill.
