And exactly what are we suppose to do?? I mean, I want Dream to pass but you tell us what to do since you sound like you have a plan?

Point here is that IF Dream Act is to pass with E-Verify this year...Obama will surely play no hand in it. He is not going to make any effort to pass DA before his election. This is a fact. This is one of his major advantages which will bring him latino votes...he's going to tell them that he will do Immigration Reform in 2013 if we vote for him and sadly we will believe him and vote for him. Its all politics. This guy isn't as innocent as he looks from the outside. He probably spent taxpayer money to celebrate his daughters birthday. I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Something other than laying off the pressure, waiting, and having an orgasm over 2013 sounds like a sound strategy.

If he guarantees this and we listen, he is seriously going to screw us over again IF the status quo remains the same . . . NO ONE CAN GUARANTEE THAT 2013 WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR THE RATIFICATION OF CIR. THEREFORE, HE NEEDS TO KNOW THAT INACTION UNTIL 2013 IS A HORRIBLE MISTAKE. HIS ASS NEEDS TO TRY AS HE HAS DONE ON OTHER ISSUES. HE HAS TO BE A BIG BOY AND LEARN TO WORK WITH WHAT HE HAS ON IMMIGRATION. We know that Republicans are in control of the lower house and that Democrats need their cooperation to get CIR done. But, this condition is no excuse for his inaction and lack of leadership.

I have not said there will be CIR or DA passing in 2012 for sure, I just said we might have better chances then current situation. You can be still positive and still hope for passing it this yr, but I lost mine in last December with DA votes. Hopefully Dems do take over in 2012 and do something thas only hope I have but GOOD LUCK to you.

E-Verify will only pass in the Senate if Dream Act bill is attached.

If GOP's want to pass E-Verify then they better pass Dream Act too.

Now that I think about this bill, it is a possibility that many Democrats will vote no on a combination of E-Verify and the DREAM Act because such a bill would make life a living hell for those who would not qualify. Ethics vs. Self-Interest.

I see this as a worst case scenario and even then how do you think Obama would handle this.. He looses either way if it passes without the Dream Act..
