Both party strongly supports CIR/DA but they still have to save their jobs. It has to benefit both parties for bi-partisan compromise.

The difference between both parties is that we actually have allies on the Democrat side, with the likes of Durbin/Reid 0n the HoS and Luis Gutierrez + amongst..

Can't say the same for Republican side, so is the days of John "Maverick" McCain has passed lol. Once a GOP'er speaks for our relief, they get a notice of removable from their fringe racist base.

In 2010 DA passed the House of Representatives. It came within 6 votes (almost entirely along party lines -- with the democrats voting in favor en-masse) of pass the Senate.

To say that the democratic party is doing nothing is to ignore what they have done so far.
