So I strongly recommend applying for DACA, DA 2.0 might even have various provisions that elevate successful DACA candidates as already qualified for the updated dream act. So apply, and get going right away.
I'm not 100% sold on them considering DACA candidates as already qualified. Remember that in order to qualify for the Dream Act, y0u have to complete 2/4 years of college or 2/4 years of military service. I say 2/4 because we don't know how much the bill will be modified this year.

If anything, DACA candidates will probably cover the first step in a new version of the Dream Act. I doubt they'll have us do bios again.

wait, now that I think about it....you were referring to the age requirements and time in the United States. Also the High School requirement would be the same as it is in the Dream Act.

My bad, I guess those that have benefited from DACA have pretty much satisfied 90% of the requirements; thus, college or military service is the last piece of the puzzle.

Obama has to push this as hard as he wanted his healthcare act..anything less isn't going to cut it !!!!!!
I think you have been misinformed. Last DA bill requirements were the same as DACA, now once granted temporary status, then the individual had the option to get an AA or 2 years in the armed forces(the minimum contract it's 4 years) after doing either one you are given a PR status then your years towards becoming a citizen start.

You are correct in recieving the the tempory status, but you must be enrolled in a bachelors degree program, or working towards one also it has to be an accredited program at a higher education facility, they are not going to let you get by with just an A.A. Degree, you will have a total of 6 yrs to fulfill these requirements...the age limit was 35yrs old...you know they will not make this easy on us..The fee for a Green card or permant residency is 980 plus bios which brings us to 1070... Republicans are not going for anything less,,they figure the tougher they make it the less there are of us to benefit from this bill...Now the original bill was just an A.A. Degree they rewrote it, in hopes that this new version would pass, thus the BACHLORS degree.

Just keep it at B.A. or 4 years of service, and please pass that shit while I'm still young enough to take either route.

Agreed, DACA applicants could just be certified as DA approved, just needing to either show a college diploma or military service to finalize the deal, it would be more straight forward then having DACA approved candidates send in applications that restart everything.
